Microsoft, ücretsiz chat istemcisi Windows Live Messenger 2008′i çoktan 8.5 nihai sürümüne yükseltti - fakat resmi başlangıç tarihi 7 Kasım olarak planlanmış.
Microsoft yazılıma yeni bir görünüm kazandırdı: kullanıcı arayüzüne puncto stili bir hava katılmış ki bu Windows Vista’nın tipik stili oluyor. Bu şekilde menü çubuğu daha grafiksel olarak daha uygun ve sezgisel görünüyor. Bunun sonucu olarak da menü altında bulunan fonksiyonlara daha çabuk ulaşılabiliyor.
Puncto tarzındaki gelişmeler Messenger ana penceresi ve konuşma pencereleri için de geçerli.
Windows Live Messenger’ın yanında Microsoft yarın Windows Live Mail, Windows Live Photo Gallery ve Windows Live Writer web hizmetlerinin de nihai sürümlerini tanıtacak. (CHIP)
