Last week I taught 'have got' in the Grammar class.I wanted my fourth grade students to write a paragraph using I have got.One of them wrote this sentence; I have zero sister.
I hadn't taught the negative structure of I have got,I just wanted them to make positive sentences.I only smiled at my clever student's sentence.
Because he wrote a sentence structurally correct but gramatically wrong. Then we all smiled .....

I think these kind of mistakes are the biggest steps to learn...
So I let my students make mistakes
