17 - The Israelites

18. If any do wish for the transitory things (of this life), We readily grant them - such things as We will, to such person as We will: in the end have We provided Hell for them: they will burn therein, disgraced and rejected.

19. Those who do wish for the (things of) the Hereafter, and strive therefor with all due striving, and have Faith,- they are the ones whose striving will be thanked (by Allah).


17-Ýsra

18. Kim bu geçici dünyayý isterse orada ona, (evet) dilediðimiz kimseye dilediðimiz kadar hemen veririz. Sonra da cehennemi ona mekan yaparýz. O, buraya kýnanmýþ ve Allah'ýn rahmetinden kovulmuþ olarak girer.

19. Kim de mü'min olarak ahireti ister ve ona ulaþmak için gereði gibi çalýþýrsa, iþte bunlarýn çalýþmalarýnýn karþýlýðý verilir.

49 - The Chambers

10. The Believers are but a single Brotherhood: so make peace and reconciliation between your two (contending) brothers; and fear Allah, that ye may receive Mercy.

11. O ye who believe! Let not some men among you laugh at others: it may be that the (latter) are better than the (former): nor let some women laugh at others: it may be that the (latter are better than the (former): nor defame nor be sarcastic to each other, nor call each other by (offensive) nicknames: Ill-seeming is a name connoting wickedness, (to be used of one) after he has believed: and those who do not desist are (indeed) doing wrong.

12. O ye who believe! Avoid suspicion as much (as possible): for suspicion in some cases is a sin: and spy not on each other, nor speak ill of each other behind their backs. Would any of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? Nay, ye would abhor it...But fear Allah, for Allah is Oft- Returning, Most Merciful.


49 - HUCURÂT SÛRESÝ

10. Mü'minler ancak kardeþtirler. Öyleyse kardeþlerinizin arasýný düzeltin. Allah'a karþý gelmekten sakýnýn ki size merhamet edilsin.

11. Ey iman edenler! Bir topluluk bir diðerini alaya almasýn. Belki onlar kendilerinden daha iyidirler. Kadýnlar da diðer kadýnlarý alaya almasýn. Belki onlar kendilerinden daha iyidirler. Birbirinizi karalamayýn, birbirinizi (kötü) lakaplarla çaðýrmayýn. Ýmandan sonra fasýklýk ne kötü bir namdýr! Kim de tövbe etmezse, iþte onlar zâlimlerin ta kendileridir.

12. Ey iman edenler! Zannýn bir çoðundan sakýnýn. Çünkü zannýn bir kýsmý günahtýr. Birbirinizin kusurlarýný ve mahremiyetlerini araþtýrmayýn. Birbirinizin gýybetini yapmayýn. Herhangi biriniz ölü kardeþinin etini yemekten hoþlanýr mý? Ýþte bundan tiksindiniz! Allah'a karþý gelmekten sakýnýn. Þüphesiz Allah tövbeyi çok kabul edendir, çok merhamet edendir.

Then We caused Our chosen servants to inherit the Book. But some of them wrong themselves; some are ambivalent; and some outdo each other in good by Allah's permission. That is the great favour. (Surah Fatir, 32)

Sonra kitabý kullarýmýzdan seçtiklerimize miras kýldýk. Artýk onlardan kimi kendi nefsine zulmeder, kimi orta bir yoldadýr, kimi de Allah'ýn izniyle hayýrlarda yarýþýr öne geçer. Ýþte bu, büyük fazlýn kendisidir. (Fatýr Suresi, 32)

O mankind! Be afraid of your Lord (by keeping your duty to Him and avoiding all evil), and fear a Day when no father can avail aught for his son, nor a son avail aught for his father. Verily, the Promise of Allah is true, let not then this (worldly) present life deceive you, nor let the chief deceiver (Satan) deceive you about Allah. (31 / 33)

Ey insanlar, Rabbinizden korkun ve öyle bir günü sayýn (öyle bir günden ürperti duyun) ki, baba, çocuðundan (taraf) birþey ödeyemez; evlat da babasýndan taraf birþey ödeyecek deðildir. Muhakkak Allah'ýn va'di gerçektir. O halde sakýn dünya hayatý sizi aldatmasýn ve sakýn o maðrur (þeytan) sizi Allah('ýn affýn)a güvendir(erek aldatýp cehenneme sürükle) mesin!

6 - The Cattle


32. Nothing is the life of this world but play and amusement. But best is the Home in the Hereafter, for those who are righteous. Will ye not then understand?
32. Dünya hayatý bir oyundan, bir oyalanmadan baþka birþey deðildir. Ahiret yurdu ise muhakkak Allah'tan korkanlar için daha hayýrlýdýr. Hala akýllanmayacak mýsýnýz?

68. When thou seest men engaged in vain discourse about Our Signs, turn away from them unless they turn to a different theme. If Satan ever makes thee forget, then after recollection, sit not thou in the company of those who do wrong.
68. Ayetlerimiz hakkýnda münasebetsizliðe dalanlarý gördüðün vakit, kendilerinden yüz çevir, ta ki baþka bir söze dalsýnlar. Eðer þeytan bunu sana bir an unutturursa, hatýrýna geldiði gibi hemen kalk, o zalimler topluluðu ile beraber olma!

69. On their account no responsibility falls on the righteous, but (their duty) is to remind them, that they may (learn to) fear Allah.
69. Allah'tan korkanlara onlarýn hesabýndan bir sorumluluk yoktur, ancak bir uyarý olur da belki sakýnýrlar.
