lone/lonely
Hello everyone!

Is there any difference between: aloness/ loneliness. For example: "I can not stand my aloness" or "I can not stand my loneliness" Can I write: "Why is life so alone?"

How about: "inhuman" and "non-human"

thanks

No matter how much we learn, there is always more knowledge to be gained. In this connection I am reminded of a short poem that has been in my mind over the years. It reads as follow: I used to think I knew I knew. But now I must confess. The more I know I know I know I know I know the less.

RE: lone/lonely
I can't stand being alone.  I like to have someone else with me so I won't be alone.  Recently I had to wait in the waiting room at the dentist's office.  I was the only one waiting.  I did not feel lonely, but I was alone.
When you are the only person in the room, you are alone in the room.

I can't stand feeling lonely. Even when I am with other people, as when I am at a party, I still feel lonely.  I was recently at a party with a lot of other people.  I was not alone, but I felt lonely.
When you feel sad because you feel you have no friends, or because you feel no one will help you if you need help, or because you feel that no one likes you, then you are feeling lonely.

Jessica

Before we turn off the lights and close our eyes,
i'll tell you a secret i've held all my life.
It's you that i live for, and for you i'd die.
so i'll lay here with you till the final goodbye.

RE: lone/lonely
Alone : meaning ::: separate, apart, or isolated from others [noun = aloneness]

Eg : I wanna be alone.
used : to express the state of an individual

lonely : meaning ::: separate, apart, or isolated from others
[meaning is just the same, but]

Eg : Despite of a good company i feel so lonely.
used : to express causing a depressing feeling of being alone
