Always telling the truth is the most important consideration in any relationship.

A relationship means that two persons are together, they may live together sharing the same house or room, spending a considerable part of their time one with another. In order to be successfull, a relationship must be based on some important characteristics such as: honesty, love, appreciation, respect, affection and understanding. In my oppinion, the most important characteristic that my partner should have is the honesty.

Honesty is for me vital, is like the air that I breathe. I cannot imagine living with somebody who lies on me, who tries to hide things from me, who is cheatting on me.
I think that usually when somebody lies on you, it will come a day when you will find about this, maybe somebody tells you something about that and you realize you didn’t know that story, or you knew totally another story, or maybe even your partner tells you something about this, for example he forgets that you don’t know the story and he tells the story without thinking about it first.

Finding about a lie makes you feel disappointed and sad. You had trusted that person, you had some expectations from him/her, but he/she managed to destroy everything that you achieved during a long period of time. He destroyed everything by lying, and it took only few seconds to do this.
Afer being lied by your partner, whatever you will try to do, however you will behave with him/her, you will not be able to live with that person any more. You will thing all the time about what he/she did, you will see only the negative part from this person, although he/she will try to change the bad that he/she did.

Honesty is the most important consideration for me in any relationship. Since I am honest with my partner, since I am telling him all my secrets and I am never disappointing him, I expect exactly the same thing from him. I don’t like to be lied by the person whom I love, trust and respect.

By telling me the truth, my partner shows me he trusts and respects me. Telling the truth means communicating with the partner and in my point of view communication is the first step to be followed in a relationship in order to be successfull.
