In the above context the text "Count me in" means believe me.

Illustration: Presume that you take your friend to a party & unfortunately you friend doesn't know other friends of your. So he/she feels shy to join you to that party. In that scenario you would say " believe me i wont make you feel shy/bad"

Infer : Count me in = believe me.
