Since we're talking about the best English sites online, I'll give you my favourite ones. Not so many as they posted above (I'll have a look at them all!), but I though I might contribute a little bit too.

One of the best ones I've seen is ELLLO (English Language Laboratory Online), with lots of listenings

They've got flash presentations with pictures, subtitles and tests, all in one!, so it's great, and changing every week

But my favourite one at the moment is "Then Multimedia English Classroom". It's got lots of little videos with scripts and explanations, funny and interesting most of them. Besides, there are a lot of other things too (most of them on video), so you can practice your listening and learn other skills too. It's so complete I use it with my students every week, and I'm never again short of ideas, and they love it. The url is:

This one is pretty good (though a bit traditional to my taste). The catch is that it is in Spanish, but oh well, maybe some of you are Spanish speakers:
